Ernie Knesel- a founder of Biomedical Reference Labs in Burlington, NC- the predecessor of Roche Biomedical Labs and Laboratory Corporation of America- the largest and most successful lab company in the world. Moved to the Revolution Mill and Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, directed by Mr. Tom May in 2001. Here he established Select Laboratories with his wife, Lynn, son, Brad, Dr. Coridalia Scott, Steve Kincaid and a host of other highly talented and experienced people who together established and built the Select Labs Group of various health care businesses. Today the businesses of these 12 companies touch multiple states and numerous countries throughout the world.
