Revolution Mill Tenant, Leadership Training/Consulting

I have been a part of the Mill since 1991 and started out in the Center for Entrepreneurialship. I think I am probably one of the oldest tenants in the building. I was one of the original tenants when the Center for Entrepreneurialship was opened and was in the Center for Entrepreneurialship/Nussbam Center for approximately 15 years and then moved to the space I am in now.

It has been a joy to watch the Revolution Mill (inside and out) go through many transitions on the road to stability. There is a deep appreciation also for all the workers over the years who made the Mill such a beautiful place to work and live. I have a picture in my office, which I treasure, showing some of the key workers who were essential in the original upgrade to the building after it was acquired from Cone Mills. They worked day and night to make this place a suitable place to conduct business and I will always be grateful for their contribution.

It is all about the people. We are like a family. We help and support each other in our businesses as needed, whether it is using a copier, legal advice, health coverage consultation, sharing technical expertise, coaching, etc. Knowing that I have such wisdom and expertise around me, is enlivening as I continue to grow my business.

I have such gratitude for the opportunity to have been a part of Revolution Mill for the past 29 years. Every day I come to work here brings a smile to my face and a deep joy at having the opportunity to be a part of something that is ever changing and growing while making a substantial impact on our community.
